Basically, my new pc was working fine for 3 months until my GPU (MSI Ventus 2x RTX 4070) stopped giving signal and I noticed I had a white VGA LED on my motherboard. After trying everything i could to fix it i eventually called the place i bought it from and they said to take it in for return which i did and then they identified it as faulty and replaced it for me.
Now I’m with the replacement, 3 days later same issue pops up. No signal. This time I saw it die. Screen went black out of nowhere while I was on Rocket League.
But what's different this time is it will work if I use something to stop it from sagging it works if it’s at the right level. It’s not really that big of a GPU and isn't sagging much but somehow this fixes it. If I level it a bit too little it’ll post but there will be green artifacts everywhere, if it’s just right it’ll work mostly fine. I say mostly because earlier God of war froze and my entire pc was unusable, and Spider-man remastered failed to boot twice and green artifacts appeared when doing so. So mix of green artifacts, full system freezes, and grey artifacts sometimes no display, all appear with this "new" replacement gpu after 3 days of use
I saw someone else post similar issues with getting a faulty replacement and having the same no display issue. Think its best to steer clear from MSI from now on. Just thought id post this around so more people can know and see this is reoccuring at MSI.
Gonna see if i can get a new gpu that actually functions through warranty for a third time. Wish me luck
