MSI RX 480 vs MSI 390X Performance wise

i want to know which one to buy i don't care about the noise or the power consumption just want to know which gpu performs better alone and in crossfire ?

Game dependant, but 480 on balance. Some games show the 390x to be stronger, but overall the 480. With an overclock, even more. The 390x was never a great idea as it offered only about 5-10% more perf than the cheaper 390 and never quite matched the 980. It is also very power hungry.

I like the 480 and would go for that.

390x 3% quicker at 1080p. If the additional power consumption and heat is worth it, then go for it. For me, a mild oc on the 480 takes it beyond whilst still consuming less power

It's a tight market at 1080p with the 390/x/970/480 all within margin of error.
