the original post from MSI said it's a PROTOTYPE and not a product. This was like a week or two ago?

Now like 3-4 days ago MSI showed the finished product which is the MSI 290X which isn't transparant.

I am completely done with this website. All info is days old hell in this case WEEKS old. and then it's wrong info.

Tom's hardware the authority on tech? Couldn't be more wrong.

none transparent - can't see that much dirt, even though there is lots of dirt.
transparent - not much dirt, but a little amount of dirt = lots of dirt.
In the end it will take 2 years to clean out every micron of dirt with a tiny brush, when viewing under a microscope.

Against my better judgement I bought an msi card with the twinfrozr cooling. What a mistake! Loud rattling fan right out of the box, what a junker.

Avoid these cards.

i bought a 7950 twin frozr for $205 from newegg a couple months back and it has been a really solid card. dead silent compared to my tahiti le and also overclocks and overvolts very well, sorry beardguy about your luck but just RMA it and consider it part of the pleasure of building your own system.
