Your'e right, but the latest UHD(but 4k between friends, cause real 4k is losing the battle to UHD for standard res) gaming was running "almost fine" (40FPS) on 1x 295X2 so 2 of them XFire'd should do the trick and give us FPS avg well over 60 with a low std.deviation.

The problem though is 850W just for 2 of those running full tilt(excluding the rest of the machine) and $2000 for purchase(assuming rebate stands) and even more for the equivalent power in Nvidia cards.

I'm just hoping that around 2016, ordinary people can have UHD@60hz gaming for less than $1k for graphics cards. Time will tell though.
