Been searching the web and I can’t find a real solution to this, so I thought I would try here.
My “MSI Gaming 5 Z97” motherboard has a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) Module Connector input and the company I work for requires that I have it installed before I install my business software.
Now I’m finding cheap connectors via newegg.com, but they are made by Asus. Will any connector work with my board? I can’t seem to find any made by “MSI” If that is the case and I order one, is there any other steps to enable it or just plug in and play??
The manual for the motherboard does not explain much detail about this. It only shows a zoomed in picture with what the pin connectors are.
