Question MSI Ventus rtx 2080 fanless mode?

I couldn't find it anywhere, is the MSI Ventus 2080 Oc fanless when PC is idle?
If not can you use a fan profile to do it?

NO...This GPU doesn't feature the Zero Frozr technology, so it won't be fanless even under idle mode..

I think it is a Hardware specific feature, IMO. Though, you can always create a CUSTOM FAN profile by using the MSI Afterburner tool, or just click on the AUTO button, under the Fan speed % setting. This should automatically default the fan speed values to factory settings.

I don't think you can create a FANLESS profile though ?

I heard somewhere you can flash a bios from another card that has fanless mode but dunno how great are the dangers of doing it.

Flashing the VBIOS is kind of risky, in my opinion.

Are you sure that ZOTAC model has the FAN STOP feature (0db mode) ? Confirm this before making any purchase

No it's like the Ventus but cheaper 😉

Ah, okay....No worries then. I thought you were preferring a 0db feature GPU model (fanless), for your PC, so that's why I asked that question. .

I wouldn't day no but it's like 150-200$ more for that feature
