Hello I am in need of a Z370 motherboard. My two options right now is the msi Z370-a pro or the Asus prime Z370-a. I am looking for a motherboard that can be used to overclock a cpu to 5 ghz. The msi z370a pro is a lot cheaper than the Asus prime Z370-a but I don’t know know if the Asus will be worth the extra money. Which should I go with?

Solution

Get the MSI Z370 GAMING PRO CARBON AC
There are a lot of overclocking settings in the BIOS and the VRM are good and they have heatsinks but you may want to have a fan on them when overclocking.
Make sure to get compatible RAM Kits

None
On the same price range, I would prefer the ASRock Z370 Extreme4.
Remember that not all CPUs are created equal. Even though you might see someone that can achieve 5Ghz with ease, it does not automatically means someone else can do just the same.

I understand that all cpu are different and I will take it into consideration, but now I have a new problem so I need a WiFi card and I am thinking of either getting a msi Z370 pro carbon ax which comes with a WiFi card for 199.99 or should I get a Asus tuf Z370 and buy a WiFi card (tp link ac1300) which is about 195. Which would be better for overclocking and internet speed ?

Ok sorry please ingnore all questions above. I just have one more question if I could get a msi pro carbon Z370 ac for $160 should I go with that or get a ASRock Z370 Extreme4 But with Extreme4
I need to buy a WiFi card. Which do I go with?
