msi vs gigabyte gtx 970

guys i am totally ignorant about hardware some people tell me to go for msi i was going to buy gigabyte suggestions

The Gigabyte is more OCable (we are talking about very marginal differences).

The MSI model is the quietest one out there

also it is all about the silicon lottery i have seen both going 1.5ghz in OC so it is all up to you imo i would go for the MSI i prefer quietness

Both are great, Gigabyte is supposed to be both faster and quieter according to benchmarks, but I am still currently waiting for my 2nd replacement since the ones that came in had bent heatsinks... so I dunno. Lol.

TBH both are great just go for the one with the color scheme that u prefer

the gigabyte runs about 4~C cooler and is louder by 1~2DB

Both are greatcars but i would prefer msi gtx 970 gaming. Beacuse it will run on 0db when your temps are aroun <65C° belive me they are extremely quite! Even at 100% fan speed. Mine runs at 32-40C° on idle and with the fan not moving, the card runs max 50C° when im gaming on ultra settings still withe fan not moving.
