Hello all,
This is my first post on the website and I have questions about a system many of you might not be familiar with, the msi windtop ae2220. I was given one of these when our company did a hardware refresh and from what I've read (what little information there is) they are not very good for gaming. I'm not looking for something that will be a super rig, but something that I could play something like EVE, KOTR, or WOW.
I haven't torn into it yet, it is in working condition, but the biggest concerns seem to be with the GPU per the reviews I've read. I figured since it was free, I won't be too concerned with spending a bit to upgrade it if possible. Since this is and All-in-one, is there anything I can upgrade to improve performance? GPU, Processor, RAM? Thanks for you help!

That information would have been helpful, sorry. Since it is an all in one, i'm assuming it is very similar to a laptop layout. The specs are as follows:
Processor = Intel Core 2 Duo T6600. 32 bit. Now that I've done some looking online, I'm assuming this is an on board chip that cannot be replaced.
GPU = NVIDIA® GeForce 9300 Integrated Graphic with 256MB VRAM
4G DDR2 Memory - Two slots, both occupied, each with 2G DDR2. I've seen that this supposedly cannot be upgraded, but why couldn't I put two sticks of 4G DDR2 to double my memory? Is there some sort of limitation I'm missing?

I was doing some more research and ran across some info on eGPU's, would it be an option to build one of these and have it up my performance? I understand the efficiency isn't great on eGPU's but it has to be better than what the computer comes with. If this is an option, do you think I could wire it in through the free mpcie port? Again, I'm trying to make what has been given to me more usable. I know it will never be an amazing system, but for what I'm wanting to do with it if I can make a few upgrades I think it will get by.

Thanks again.
