Question MSI X470 GAMING PRO CARBON - Double GPU setup with (Non-SLI) possible?

Is it possible to use ryzen 2600 with this mobo and use Rtx 2080 and GTX 1080 at the same time? I had a problem with it with my current mobo on i7 4770 and that's why I want to upgrade to something new and something that will allow for double GPU support - non SLI.

Don't see why not.
The X470 Pro Carbon supports SLI, so there's at least PCIE x8 available for two cards.
I know you don't need SLI support, but the fact it's there tells us about the PCIe lanes available to it - and you should be able to leverage a 1080 + 2080 for multi-GPU workloads.

Would both cards run on this mobo?

All x370 and x470 mobos have bad ratings 3/5 stars and bad opinions... I don't want to spend so much money on crap hardware

I just want to run 2 GPUs non-sli.

CPU: ryzen 7 1700

Would that mobo work for them?
