MSI Z170A PC Mate OK for overclocking?

Looking to match a new slot motherboard to a i5 6600K processor on my new build (first-timer!!!) gaming PC...
I had settled on the ASUS Z170A, but the budget Z170A PC Mate seems to have all the features i need in terms of slots and outputs...at £20 cheaper (UK)
Will it still be straightforward to O/C
Is there any difference between the 2 I should be aware of?

For £20 the ASUS is a much better choice.

MSI is notorious for poor quailty control on their motherboards and I don't recommend them. You might get lucky and get a good MSI board, but I'd personally not risk the headache of getting a lemon.

The ASUS Z170-A has recieved quite a few very glowing professional reviews, and between the two is the board I recommend getting:
