MSI z87 MPower having issues sleeping

I built a new computer about a month ago with the MSI Z87 MPower mobo and when I try to put it to sleep it runs into issues. The display sleeps but the computer does not. The debug LEDs on the board say 03 (north bridge initiation) and sometimes 04 (south bridge initiation). After staying like this for about a half hour it shuts down and then restarts saying windows shut down from an unexpected error.
The same problem occurs when trying to hibernate also.
When the computer is running, the LEDs still say 03 and sometimes 04 the entire time it is running. This does not seem right, because other times it says A0 which means everything is fine.
I have ran memtest on the RAM and it returns no errors so I don't think it is that. And I also made sure my BIOS is up to date.

Here are my specs:

CPU: i5 4670K
GPU: XFX radeon R6770
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X series 8GB (2x4GB) 1600 (PC3 12800)
PSU: Corsair HX750W
Mobo: Z87 MSI MPOWER
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Any help would be great!

Turn off sleep from never. I remmember i had it on sleep=never and it didnt let me go to sleep mode altought you might have a different problem.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually have it set to sleep after 1 hour so I don't think that is it.
