Question New build, final steps

Hello all.

I just finished a new build, all new except HDD will upgrade in a few months:

Thermaltake V-100
RX7600 CPU
RX6600 Challenger D GPU
Ripjaws S5 16 x 2
WD 250GB HDD
Thermaltake GF3 850W
Asus Prime X670E Pro

Its all put together and everything plugged in, I went through the manuals in great detail then after the build went through them on a slow read to make sure I didn't miss something.

Two last questions, the stock Wraith Stealth air cooler I installed has spring loaded screws, I originally tightened them down to bottom out the springs and then just snugged the screws but reading up on these you just need to put tension on the springs and stop? In any case I backed the screws off about 3 turns to lighten the load.

Also, the RX6600 Graphics Card has a metal backplate that seems to slide down between the case and the motherboard there are no mounts there. I read here on Tom's that is fine as the motherboard edge has no metal parts or traces but want to make sure before plugging it in and turning it on.

Any help or notes welcome.

You're good to tighten until it stops.

Pass on images of what you're referring to, just so we're both on the same page. If you look around the forums, there are instances where the reader was lazy to include images but active enough to explain in text only to come to the conclusion that they misinterpreted the component/device/wiring/pins and...became a long story. The only thing you need to worry about with regards to a discrete GPU is that that it's fully seated in the PCIe x16 slot and that the PICe power input connectors are fully seated as well.
