MSI Z97I AC out of stock everywhere?

The MSI Z97I AC mini-itx motherboard seems to be out of stock everywhere. There are a lot of references to people buying the board for ~$150 but the only places that have it in stock have jacked the price up to $250, I even saw a listing online for over $1k! What's the deal with these boards, are they no longer in development?

Are we to expect a predecessor sometime soon? I'm looking for a really solid mini-itx with LGA 1150 socket.

EDIT: I'm particularly interested in this board after reading the article review here, http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/asrock-z97m-itx-ac-msi-z97i-ac-motherboards,4103-4.html.

I'm going with LGA 1150 after reviewing the Best Motherboard 2016 recommendations, and found no mini-itx recommendations for 1151 socket. That was a little disappointing, but i'm sure there's a good reason for it that makes me look ignorant.

Yes, you can't find it anymore, and don't make sense to pay $250 for it either.
You may find other one like asrock Z97E-ITX/ac, Z97M-ITX/AC, or gigabyte GA-Z97N-WIFI http://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#s=24&f=8&sort=a8&page=1&c=99

I'm having the same issue as you. I may go with the Asrocks as it has 6 phase power verse the 4 on the Gigabyte.
