And your Tegra3 tablet/phone costs how much, and has how many USB3 ports? Herp a derp, why dont I just take a used Radeon R9 and tape it to the back of my mountain bike!? Then I will have less than 10W and it will be FAST indeed!!! derpderpderp
 

How many people actually care about USB3? The only thing it is useful for is transferring large files but if the phone/tablet is already "stuck" at being plugged into the TV, it would be simpler to play media directly from the attached external storage instead of copying it to the device first and USB2 is plenty fast for that.

I would be more interested in having regular USB2 ports to plug in a regular mouse, keyboard, USB key, SD adapter, etc. but USB-A ports are too large for pocket-sized mobile devices. The micro-USB3 connector is pretty cumbersome too so I am not expecting it to become popular. Most manufacturers will probably skip to the USB3.1 connector.
