I have been reinstalling a system for a friend and found that MSN has droped POP3 for web based email. If you install MSN 8 or use the MSN Explorer you automaticly kill your POP3 setup and can only use Hotmail.
They have also dropped Newsgroups.
I am not sure why you would use MSN as an ISP. They take your money and give less back to you and give it away to "NEW Customers"
Mom & Pop ISP would be better (IMHO)

Hmmm... that would certainly be the case. I'll have to let ppl know who call in for tech support about this...

Actually, a little tidbit, but AT&T Worldnet outsources their technical support. I actually work for a company called Convergys. They run almost all of AT&T's customer service. And guess what, when you call in for tech support down there in the states, you're actually talking to CANADIANS!!! AHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
