[SOLVED] Muffled audio when recording games or desktop

Okay, so when I got my PC I started using Geforce experience to clip and record whenever I play games, but then one day randomly when I listened back to the recording I realized that it sounded a bit off, I recorded a few more times and I realized that the audio sounds very muffled or just low audio quality. When playing it sounds completely fine, it's only muffled in the recording/clip. I changed my audio settings in the sound control panel then to the highest quality but that didn't work so i went and reinstalled the drivers and updated them, but nothing worked and I was sure that is was something to do with my geforce experience, I thought maybe using a different software would eliminate the problem so I tried out OBS but it still seemed muffled

Any ideas what could cause this to happen?

In sound settings under advanced tab is enhanced audio being used.
