Multiple devices to one SATA power cable

Hi everyone,

Just wondering, can I connect multiple devices to one SATA power cable that has 4 heads on it? I have 1 x SSD, 1x HDD & the pump for my Corsair H100i, at the moment I have separate cable for each and I’m looking to tidy it up a bit.

I might be wrong, but if you have a quality PSU, you should be safe with this.

Good PSU you have there. Go ahead with arranging the cables in your case. No worries there for using only one SATA power cable.

Thank you both for your help, i got good advice when i was building my system to go with this PSU so i'm happy with it, and great that i can just use the one SATA power cable, if it reaches all my devices it'll make cable management a lot easier.

Yes. That's the way most PSU's are built. Daisy chained SATA power connections.

And please don't dredge up 5 year old threads.
