Hello, I've just installed windows 10, and my wi-fi adapter went mad.
I mean than it was correctly detected on windows 8.1, but after upgrade to windows 10, it has stopped working. A lot of new devices have appeared
Code:
Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter #3
Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter
Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter #24
and so on
I've reinstalled fresh windows, and wi-fi started working, but there are still a lot of this deivce' copies.
what should I do and how can I fix this?

Solution
Hello sovasovasova

Looks like multiple instances of a single driver. Probably the first instance replicated itself.

You can start by disabling the last instance of the driver (e.g. #24) and then restarting the PC. If the Wi-Fi continues to work, go ahead and disable all the other instances, leaving the first one enabled.

Restart the PC.

If the Wi-Fi still works, you can delete all the disabled instances one-by-one.

After completion, right-click the computer name from the top, and click Scan for hardware changes.

Check and confirm if everything remains normal.

In addition to the above, you can also try the suggestions given here.

Hope this helps, Good Luck!! :)
