Hi Guys,

I’ve just done a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro from a USB stick and I noticed that there are 4 HID Keyboard Devices and 2 HID-compliant mouse devices.

This install at the moment is totally fresh with no Windows updates or drivers installed at all.

There is only one keyboard and mouse attached to the computer and nothing else apart from the monitor.

I’m using a Cooler Master SK650 RGB Keyboard and a Razer Mamba Elite RGB Mouse.

Is there a reason why multiple entries of these devices are visible?

Cheers,
Chris

Did you use Windows Media Creation Tools to fabricate your bootable USB installer for the OS? Source the drivers necessary for your platform. You are advised to install your drivers manually in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Make and model of your motherboard?

The Motherboard is a Gigabyte X570 AORUS MASTER rev. 1.1

I downloaded the latest Windows 10 Pro ISO (20H2) from Microsoft and used Rufus to make the USB installer.

May be that's NORMAL
