Multiple monitor question

Sorry if this is in the wrong category, I'm kind of a noob at this. I'm soon getting 3 monitors for my pc, I would like to get rid of my tv, and use one of the monitors for my xbox when I want to play xbox, and only use 2 for the pc if I'm on the pc and playing xbox at the same time, and when I'm not playing xbox I would like to use all 3 on my pc, is this possible?

What is your graphics card? You've got to make sure you have enough outputs to handle 3 monitors first off. If that's not an issue, just make sure the monitors you buy have HDMI inputs to handle the xbox. The rest depends on what graphics card you have. What is it?

My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 4GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Dual GPU

Alrighty, good card. Since your card has 3 DVI outputs, you can connect one to each monitor. Then, on one of the monitors, connect the Xbox to its HDMI port. When you want to have the three screens for your computer, make sure the monitor with the Xbox connected is on the DVI input. When you want to play your Xbox, switch the input on that monitor to the HDMI. The only hitch to work around is the fact that most monitors don't have speakers built in. Are you wanting 3 of the same monitor?
