So I have three monitors hooked up. I only game on one and use the other for all the other information I could need. Now the third is a TV that's hooked up and duplicating a monitor. When the tv is off or on another source.

My question is will that tv still affect my pc if its off?

Also Say I duplicate my gaming monitor for when I have company over or the wife is watching, How hard is duplicating my game to two monitors?

If any viewing device (TV or Monitor) is off, your computer should not be affected. There may be some error message (e.g., "device not found") but that error is not likely to cause any direct problem.

Duplicating a monitor is straightforward. Use "WIN" + "P" to access the display options.

You should see the available "PROJECT" options presented in a menu format along the right side of the monitor.

E.g.:

PC Screen only
Duplicate
Extended
Second screen only
