multiple monitors on one HDMI?

ok I have been given a GTX 1050 and it only has 1 HDMI port on it. Is there a splitter out there that would allow me to hook up 2 monitors and extend my desktop again or is it possible to put my GTX 750TI in as a slave to run the second monitor for my browser and maybe discord?

Ripjaw X 1866 x16Gb

GIGABYTE 970a-d3p
x5tb storage (2tb toshiba, 2 and 1tb seagate barracuda's)

Yes there is. You can use either a DVI-HDMI adapter or a Displayport-HDMI adapter (depending on your preference). Both will provide the same quality as HDMI.

is there an HDMI to HDMI splitter that would work because i already have HDMI to DVI/VGA cables, i just need to split the HDMI interface with something that doesnt just mirror the signal.

No, there is no such thing as an HDMI splitter that would allow you to get a different image on two monitors from a single HDMI output. Any splitter that you might find (if they exist) would just mirror the screens.

Yes, you could do that. I don't see why you would compared to just getting a suitable adaptor to use a 2nd output on your 1050 though.

Your card should have 1 display port, 1 HDMI, and 1 DVI. You need to get a Display port to HDMI cable or adapter. there is no way to split a single HDMI to give two different images to your monitors. You can split an HDMI and have it mirror the images on the two monitors

So plug one monitor in with HDMI to HDMI, and plug the other one in with a Displayport to HDMI
