Hey I've been using my computer as a Home Theater PC connected to my TV. I'm going to start using it for work and studying C++. I have two monitors, both with VGA outputs. My video card is a Radeon HD 7870 Ghz edition.

I purchased this from amazon today.

My question is this, is it as easy as plug and play to setup two monitors? Am I going to plug them both in and have it functional? I've never done this before. Any help would be appreciated. Please no suggestions for new monitors. so broke.

lol what would that do for me? I don't have a monitor that connects via HDMI. I only have two monitors that connect via VGA. I figured that the DVI to 2 VGA output would be the easiest way to connect

My video card only has Mini DisplayPort x2, DL-DVI x1 and HDMI x1
and I have two VGA monitors so what should I do with the other monitor since I only have 1 DVI port.

So would I need to buy two adapters? One HDMI to VGA and one DVI to VGA? If I connected them would it set up dual monitors or would it still be the same screen?
