multiple monitors (screens) for laptop

I own an Acer Aspire 5552-3691 and I have a friend who offer to sell me two screens for the same laptop. Is there a way to turn those screens onto a three screen-laptop? I have seen someone purchased two monitors and attached them to the laptop but those are expensive monitors.

Are they monitors? Like for normal desktops? Or are they like laptop screens that have been detached from the laptop?
