Let me start off with saying I did not really know where to post this so I put it under CPUs as it covers almost everything.

I have created another post about this topic a little more then a month ago and it was mainly about graphics card but it has brought up more questions and I would like to know more about my computer overall. The link to the other post is http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3272357/multiple-questions-graphic-cards.html.

In the other thread the two helpers (who were both very nice and helpful) did contradict each other as one said the 8670D graphics card (which is the graphics card I have right now) was about as good as the 240/250 r7 series while the other said that the 250 was much better. One of them said that if I really wanted a good graphics card for a cheap price that I should look at the GeForce GTX 750ti's listed here http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/products/video-card/#c=164&sort=a8&page=1. There was also an imgur album of the 240/250 r7 series that were near me. http://imgur.com/a/gN7lB. The $20 difference does not matter much to me (all prices are canadian) but the GeForce GTX 750ti's that are listed all have different series and have different Core Clocks. If I were to get a 750ti from this list would it matter what one I really got?

That brings me on to another question about my PSU. In this imgur album, http://imgur.com/a/1c1NX, which says my maximum wattage is 286.4Ws.
But one of the gentlemen said, "your psu has 2 x 13 amp 12v rails for 216 watts on the 12v rail. this will limit any gpu upgrade. the best it will do would be a new 1050ti that does not need an extra power connection. but it will run any of the 2 you are thinking of. a 240 or 250, however, the apu already has comparable graphics so it would not be an actual upgrade.

it's not worth doing unless it is an actual increase in performance. so save your money until you can afford an actual gpu upgrade. what you already have is just as good as either of those cards and may actual be a touch better!!"

If I decide to buy a 750ti should I buy a new PSU as well as the graphics card? I seen 2 PSU's in a local store. There was a 400W one for $49.99 and a 520W one for $69.99. After all of the price starts getting tricky. All this is mainly for games I get low FPS on, (Dark Souls 3, Rainbow six siege and most likely For Honor. I didn't get a key so I don't know how my comp will run it but looking at the graphics and how it's a new game I assume not well). If I buy the 400W PSU, the r7 250 graphics card and the game the price comes out to $270.85 whereas if I get the 520W PSU and the 750ti it comes out to roughly (since there are multiple 750ti's listed I will go with $140) $321.50. This could change with shipping and what not and if I do buy a 750ti online how can I be sure it won't be broken when I get it? I seen this option on some that's 20 dollars more that has a 2 year warranty so add that on and it becomes $341.50. I do understand that each website as their own TOS. The difference between the prices is $70.65. In a nutshell I guess I am asking for a detailed answer of why and which deal is better.

That goes on to my final two questions that have nothing to do with all of the other stuff. First of all, where is my graphics card on my CPU? My guess is that it's behind the fan and secondly, is the green chip under the fan my processor? If you made is this far thank you for your patience.

Solution
I think both of us agreed the 750ti should not even be looked at because the 1050 is so close in price. Currently on pcp I see $135 for 750ti or $145 for 1050 for 50% more performance. You don't need to change the psu.
The green chip is a wireless network card, the processor is underneath the big fan with the aluminum heatsink. If that picture is your computer then you have integrated graphics and don't have a GPU it would otherwise go into the long yellow slot you took a picture of. I would choose this card if i only had a choose from that list: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/NMqdnQ/evga-video-card-02gp43753kr EVGA is probably the best video card manufacturer there is. This card is better and the same price though: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487153

Is there a difference between that PSU and the 520W PSU I was talking about? I would prefer to pay 5 more dollars to get something at a local store then order it online. Plus the online one is only 500Ws.

Well my final question is if I stay with my current PSU and why should I get the 500W PSU online other then the 520W locally.

Edit: I would like a general understanding and thank you for clearing stuff up about the last thread k1114

Edit 2: I just seen your last edit. I guess I will just get the 1050.

If I buy the 1050 should I know anything before putting it in my comp? I'll probably just look at a youtube video for it.
