Music system / Mini HiFi systems have vanished from the market in my country.
If you walk into a electronics shop you won't be able to purchase a HiFi audio
system.

What's the situation in your area ?

"If you walk in to an electronics shop" perhaps because the electronics shops are also vanishing, and gigantic home theater setups are a hassle to ship and for the purchaser to install/set up the whole thing on their own. It's a lot of money and effort to watch lord of the rings one time and never use it again.

Last I've seen or heard from them was when I switched satellite television providers the technician tried to sell me on a huge, expensive Bose setup, which I declined, but the tech driving around with all the equipment in the back of the van solves both aforementioned hurdles
