Ok english is not my first language just saying..

So i got the asus strix oc gtx 1080ti a week ago and it is under performing and doing worse than my old 980ti. Anyone know what could be the problem? On cs and fortnite im gettin 120fps avg which is really bad when i have a 144hz monitor. Im playing on 1920x1080. (Please dont tell me that 1080ti is overkill) And on world of tanks im gettin 90-100 fps avg when my friend with a 1080 is getting 200fps avg. I dont have vsync on, all my nvidia 3d settings are correct. (Looked on internet for the right settings) So i dont really know what to do anymore..

Specs:

i7 6700k 4.0GHz
Gtx 1080ti (with newest driver: 398.36)
32GB RAM
Games running on SSD

RAM speeds are correct.

[quotemsg=21145932,0,2380071]Did you do a clean uninstall of your 980ti drivers? It very well could be a driver issue. Use this DDU tool to remove the old drivers and then install the current Nvidia drivers.

Well i reinstalled windows so im pretty sure that already uninstalled the old ones right?

Maybe. It's *possible* that Windows tried to install some drivers itself for the card. That happened to me with a fresh install of Windows with an AMD card once.

Something is wrong with your RAM. It is performing in the 1st percentile and clocked at 1600mhz. That is very slow for DDR4 RAM. I would start by resetting your bios to factory defaults as you may have underclocked your RAM by accident.
