My 144hz monitor won't let me use 144hz any longer..

Hi, so I have AOC G2460PQU and I've used if for almost a year now, I've since used a displayport/DP as the cable to my monitor but just recently I noticed it wasn't running 144hz when I was playing CS:GO, so I checked the NVIDIA Control Panel and it doesn't show 144hz, it only shows 60hz, 59hz, and 50hz. I find it weird because when I go to windows settings I can choose 144hz but when I go back to windows options it is changed back to 60hz.. I really don't know what I can do to get back the 144hz I used to have. Anyone?

Check the Monitor OSD to see if it's enabled. Maybe your monitor settings got reset. Use the buttons on the monitor, not settings inside windows.
