Now, before you guys say it's old and take it a rest, it was working a while ago but then lately when I turn the main power on, more amount of static is emitted than usual and makes a noisy ticking sound followed with rgb lines on the top most pixels getting brighter overtime. Then when I turn it off, it makes a burning, sizzling sound.

It's a SONY Trinitron TV

Solution
It sounds like it's probably a combination of a power supply problem (unfixable unless you know a vintage tv repairman, or have experience in HV DC circuitry), or it could use a degaussing. I found this link: https://itstillworks.com/degauss-sony-television-2256.html. Trinitrons are tuned from the factory, and have a weak internal degaussing, which can be sometimes triggered by the procedure described in the link. There isn't a whole lot you can do with CRT's unless you know your way around HV DC power supplies.

All electronics work perfectly.
Right up until the moment they don't.

Your monitor has reached that point.
