Hey guys, it's my 1st gaming pc and I need help. Please tell me if i'm doing anything wrong. Thks.

- I didn't use the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo although it is my first choice, the reason is that my case, the Corsair Spec-03 can only support 157mm height cpu cooler max, and the CM hyper 212 Evo is 159mm.

-And i'm not sure if I want to use a hdd because it will be hot and I won't use much space.

-I'm not sure what motherboard I should get, 970 or 990 for a budget gaming pc.

This is my build

Um... This is a $800 build? You didn't even utilize the budget. Oh, also, this build is good at the $500 range in 2015. It doesn't cut cheese now.

Nice work okcaline.
You can then add an SSD later when you can afford it.

How about the case fans and I will need to add windows 10 into my computer.

Tbh I wanted the budget to be 500$ but I thought it is hard because it includes the os, cpu cooler and everything.

Your build didn't include those, it is my first time so i'm still confused...

Can you show me a 500$ pc build?
If you can then it will be awesome.

the fx6300 is not a gaming processor. you are better off getting an i3.

Really? I thought the fx-6300 was a great processor for gaming.

1) You don't need case fans. Case is optimized enough to run without case fans.
2) Stock heatsink and no OC is fine.
3) If you're willing to pay $20 more, yes.
