My 2.5'' hdd enclosure is not recognized/Win 7

Hello everyone, my laptop died and I bought an enclosure to transfer my files.

It won't make a sound when I plug it in, not show up in management nor on my computer.

I don't wanna lose my files (300 GB of work) so please don't prompt me to format... Help??

No, I didn't drop it.

It just wouldn't power on.

So, no the hdd is NOT damaged.

OK my HDD is a sata model of seagate 320 GB, was partitioned in 2 pieces on a Vista machine (on my current machine I use 7 Ult)

And my enclosure is a 2.5" USB 2 Logilink UA0041B...

I have an unknown device in my dev man, and I'm sure it is my case but I can't figure out why it won't come up.

Oh, I plug it ON my desktop hubs, not on my extra USB hub :/

Already updated, and drivers are not available since it's a p&p device.

Could it be a problem that the hdd was partitioned on Vista?

Yes all my USBs are tested and functioning; I can try plugging the drive into another computer tomorrow and let you know the results... :/
