[SOLVED] My 2016 Hyper 212 EVO Doesn't Fit My New Mobo

Hi,
I bought a Hyper 212 EVO back in 2016 and the mounting bracket (on the back of the mobo) fit my old motherboard just fine. Now I just upgraded my mobo to the Asus TUF Gaming B550+ and the bracket doesn't fit to the screwholes in the mobo. I also can't use the mounting panel that came with the mobo because the screw sizes are different so I can't install the spacing bolts (not sure what they're actually called). Am I delusional about this or has the mounting bracket size changed since 2016 to fit new mobos/cpus? Can I buy the proper sized mounting bracket somewhere or do I need to buy a whole new fan? Thanks for any pointers

I think that cooler was released before the AM4 platform, hence not compatible by default. You need to get the mounting kit from CM...

Looks like it's out of stock and they're not resupplying. Would this also work: https://store.coolermaster.com/us/hyper-212-evo-acessories-kit? Besides, don't I need the back panel most of all?

That seems to include the necessary AM4 kit, including backplate. I don't think you will need anything more, but it doesn't hurt to recheck with customer support.
