My 2nd GPU isn't working for its own individual monitor.

I'm running a HD7870 for my first monitor for gaming, and a HD5870 for a separate second monitor for looking things up, watching things, etc. while I game. The problem (that I've noticed) is that the 5870 is disabled in the Catalyst Center, but it is enabled in my Device Manager thus not sending a signal to the second monitor. Ideas on how to get my second GPU acting right:??:

Sorry for the double post, new to the website.

The bigger problem is that my second monitor isn't picking up any signal at all even when just on the desktop. If I were to turn on the monitor now, nothing will happen. I know my 5870 is on because I fiddled with the fan speed and heard it spinning faster. I'm at a loss for whats happening, this should work right? :/

A Thermaltake TR2 RX 750W

But unlike everything else plugged into it, my older card is connected to one of the PCI-E ports, maybe thats why?

Yea, only 5870 is plugged into the PCI-E port by my own doing, still not sure of the difference. More power to whatever is on the other end? For some back story, I got the PC back in 2010 as a gift and it was built by iBuyPower, not me. Everything else is plugged into the "MOLEX/SATA/FDD Connector" ports. Although
I can't see how the power would be a problem, its' enabled in device manager but CCC tells me otherwise, also just updated both of the cards drivers.

Specs.

ASUS P6T SE
Intel i7 950 @3.07Ghz
6Gb Corsair DDR3 (not sure of the remaining info)
2 x 120 Gb Samsung 840 Evo + 1 TB Wester Digital HDD
and you know the rest.

For all I know the TR2 is terrible, but it's been doing its job for 5 years haha
