My 3 TB HDD only shows 2 TB.

My 3 Terabyte HDD only show 2 Terabytes. I looked up how to fix this, but wanted to post here to make absolutely sure I'm doing the right thing. http://i.imgur.com/Dfa3YoS.png Here is a link to the Disk Management screen.

What motherboard using (UEFI available)? Have you GPT formatted the disk?

My motherboard is an ASUS M5A78L-M. Don't believe UEFI is available. It will not allow me to GPT format my disk.

Then try installing the ASUS utility (disk unlocker). See if working.

ah jeez, i feel really silly. I installed the drivers part and forgot all about the utilities. Thank you very much though, sorry again for being foolish.
