hi,
I had kingstone hyperX 16GB Dual channel predator 3000Mhz and they were working just fine.
I recently bought a m.2 nvme ssd and pair of old Gskill 16GB Dual channel 3000Mhz and installed windows on new ssd.
WHATS W R O N G?
after windows installation I noticed frame drop on some games and task manager showes my RAM speed as 1467Mhz while in bios says 2933.
tried removing new RAMs but didn't help.
Any Idea what have I done wrong?

Solution
It is the maximum your CPU can support. Check the specs.

DDR stands for Double Data Rate so the speed advertising is a little confusing, the IO Bus clock is twice the controller clock... Hence, 2x1467~2933
