My 32 GB SD card only shows 512 MB of usable space. Help?

Windows 7 shows that there is only 512MB of usable space on my SD card. I noticed that the Windows 7 Computer Management tool shows that there are two partitions on the SD card: 512 MB (primary partition) & 29.04 GB (unallocated). However, I am not able to delete the primary partition and I'm also not able to create a new partition using the unallocated space; the options are greyed out/un-selectable.

Does anyone know how I can re-format the SD card so that it regains all of its 32 GB of usable space?

Disk management doesn't like it when flash drives have partitions so you will need to use the command prompt to fix this. Instructions on this page http://nlb-creations.com/2013/01/17/removing-partitions-from-a-usb-thumb-drive
