My 3d mark rating rasied!

Like i said my marks where at 5145 or something
they raised up to 9501 with the new ati radeon drivers

Well i got my score of 3900 to 4500 marks w/ a (p2)Celeron 533 and radeon 32mb ddr.

Cel 533 - 256mb sdram
15gb HD - ati radeon 32mb ddr (200/200)
SB live! mp3+ - win98 Beos

yeah, that's normal, I got 4807 on an Athlon at regular 164Mhz on the Radeon... the 9000 sounds way the heck too excessive, either he had a typo, he didn't perform the right test, or he's making it up...
however, on the 0.01% chance that he's right, I *want* those drivers

that's what I thought, but damn if that dJedi post didn't make me hopeful

don't know if he though it would make Radeon more popular or respected, but as far as I'm concerned, all it brought was a big letdown... 🙁

(oh, and I got 5480 OC-ed to 189 Mhz, if I got the Blue Orb and went to 200, I think I could break 6000 *just* barely

Are you sure you ran the benchmark in 32 bit mode? That sounds like a score consistent with 16 bit color.

I think/presume he was talking about the regular, default benchmark, which I think is alwasy 16-bit...

my 4807 score is in regular 16-bit mode AFAIK... Ultras may get 9000+ in there, but not Radeons🙁

Oh, that isn't crap then. I score 4200 with my GeForce 2 MX <not> overclocked. I always benchmark in 32 bit color because most games use 32 bit color.
