My 4 core processor is only showing 2 cores?

My PC specs:
Intel i5 6500
16gb ddr4 ram
gtx 960
asus z170a mb
corsair 500w psu
My 4 core intel processor is only showing 2 cores in task manager and msconfig boot?
What should I do?

Was this an old WIndows install now used with a new CPU and /or motherboard?

Do a repair install.....

hi, no i installed windows 10 when i built my pc three years ago. I have done a repair install and there is only 2 cores being used.
