Question My 4th ram slot seems to be the only one that works. If I try the other 3 the debug ligh on my mobo flashes between cpu and ram.

I've tested both my sticks individually on the 4th slot and they both work. If I put them in any other slot it does the flashing debug and fails to boot at all. I have no idea what it could be. It seems like a rare issue considering I can't find much about it. Anybody think they know whats going on?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Check the motherboard's User Guide/Manual.

Some motherboards require that the first physically installed RAM module being placed in a specific RAM slot.
