[SOLVED] My 5700xt is Underperforming

I have sapphire pulse 5700xt stock clocks paired with ryzen 5 3600 oc to 4.2ghz

I ran heaven benchmark on extreme 1080p I got only 2600 score while my friend who has a 2070 non super and i7 8700k got 3400 score on the same benchmark settings
Is that normal ??
Shouldn't the 5700xt exceed the 2070 performance ??

Try benchmarking at 1440p where the score depends way more on the GPU than CPU and rest of system.

Also try benchmarking using something more controlled since you're comparing to other systems. That would be 3DMark Timespy; you can then compare graphics only, CPU only or combined scores.

Generally, as long as your GPU is maintaining appropriate core frequency, it's performing fine.
