My 64GB thumb drive says available 39GB but it won't let me put a 14GB file on it.

Trying to get my 14GB pst (archived email) file on this thumb drive. It says it has 39GB free but when I copy and paste it, it says "file too large for the destination file system". Can you help?

Solution
It is formatted in FAT32. You need to reformat it in exFAT. Note any files on it will be destroyed. So, you'll need to copy any existing files over again.

You can also use NTFS. exFAT is more universally compatible.
