My acer aspire 5536 does not shut down when i opt for it,why

my acer aspire 5536 is not shuttin down instead itz gettin stuck n i am forced to use the power button to turn it off .. can anyone help

Wow so this question is over 6 months old...
Well I have just encountered this problem as well, and it seems to have started after a patch to Windows 7 (home premium). Hopefully someone can help out here
