My Acer Aspire 5536 won't detect any wireless networks?

When I look for wireless networks, it doesn't even show up. Any help as to how I could possibly set it up manually?

Do you have the latest drive for your adapter and is it enabled?

Still with Windows Vista?? Try to install the drivers and reboot but if it doesn´t show after instalation you may have to check for cables connection, if these are ok you may have to replace the adapter.
I'm more into a missing driver, for system error or accidental uninstall
