my asus laptop touchpad won't work

my asus laptop (windows 10) mouse pad would not work so I looked up what to do and tried uninstalling then reinstalling it. After I uninstalled it, I now can not find the devise to reinstall it. I do have a touch screen and my keyboard is working but I have a project that I need to do that just a touchscreen won't work for.
