Question My Bluetooth Controller Cannot be Detected by Steam Games

Bluetooth controller cant be detected by Steam games.

My controller : Fantech WGP14

Games : DMC HD collection, Onimusha Warlords, Ducktales Remastered.

It is detected by those games if I use USB cable, but if I use bluetooth connection it is not detected by any of those games.

I use generic USB bluetooth dongle, it works fine with microsoft store games/GP games. It also works with Steam Big Picture, I can navigate Steam Big Picture with the controller in bluetooth mode. But it doesnt work with above Steam games in bluetooth mode for whatever reason.

I tried using another port for the dongle, didnt work. I tried removing and re-adding device, still didnt work.
Any help would be appreciated

have you tried reinstalling steam? (This worked for somerone who had same situation with an Xbox controller)

Does steam show the controller as connected?

Devil May Cry also has similar problems with wireless controllers. link

I can't find as many links for the last game.
