I need help with my boot SSD suddenly becoming unallocated. I didn't do anything before.
3 hours ago I booted my PC and it ran well, after that I turned it off.

After a few hours I turned it on again but the BIOS doesn't detect my boot drive.
So I checked it with my other PC and it appears that my SSD has become unallocated, but I can see the boot folders still in there. How do I get my SSD to work normally again ?

What you have, is drive failure. Hence why your PC can't boot from it and 2nd PC sees it as unallocated drive. As far as i know, there is no way for you to see what kind of data is in the unallocated space. So, how can you tell that boot folders are still there? 🤔

You can't. At least not reliably.

You could try to format it and create new volume (to bring it out from unallocated state) but since drive did fail once, it will fail again. IF you even can create new volume that is.

Best course of action: buy a new drive.

But if you want to recover data from it, you're looking towards services of data recovery firm.

i already check on DMDE and the folders still in there even i can open the pictures
seems like the image got edited automatically by tom's because i already attach the image

it seems that ur gpt metadata in sectors 1 and 2 has been corrupted there appear to be good original copies of this metadata at the end of the drive imho the safest solution would be to restore sectors 1 and 2 from the copies u can do this using the tools copy sectors function of dmde good luck
