Question My brother deleted Nvidia from the Taskbar and now there's no display ?

We're going to need more info. What OS are you working with? If you're on Windows 10/11, can you perform a system restore, prior to a point before your brother deleted things? If not, can you get into Safe Mode?

On second thoughts, please list the specs to your brother's system's specs like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

cant get alot of info, hes pc turns on but no signal is detected.
he has an i5,a ssd connected the gpu is a 3060,psu is a 600watt thermaltake 80plus,16gb of ram,win 11 os,generic cpu fan cooler.psu is about 3 years old but i doubt thats the issue.
i think he was just randomly deleting stuff from task manager.ive taken out the cmos battery for 30mins-did nothing.any idea how to boot into safemode with no screen signal?

Edit: he's not right in the head and sometimes just starts deleting random processes

apologies ive spoken to him again, he thinks he delete the nvidia from the start up icon, im guessing most likely in the remove/uninstall tab.any ideas on what i can do?hes cpu doesnt come with onboard graphics so im lost.

Ok, lets think this through: Even if things were deleted from the Taskbar/Task Manager, that shouldn't matter as far as the display is concerned; the driver would restart the next time Windows boots. And even if the driver was outright deleted, you'd still get low-res output of the Desktop. Likewise, you should be getting BIOS/Windows startup display unless something is physically wrong with the GPU.

As such, this sounds like hardware. So lets isolate.

Does your PC normally beep at startup? If so, is it doing that now? Wondering if the PC is even getting past POST. Failing that, try plugging the computer into a different display (even a TV you may have lying around). Key point is to isolate *where* the problem is: PC or display.

Even if you were to delete every file on the hard drive the machine should still give you a display on the bios. All this depends on the exact motherboard you have so posting that will let people on the forum look the manual up.
Most machines you get a screen just before the OS boots. On that screen it tells you to push some key to get into the BIOS.

You need to read the manual to get the exact key but most machine it is the delete key. Hold that key down very soon after you push the power on button.

If you get no bios display then there is some much larger wrong with the machine than some change to the windows install.
