My Build - 3D rendering/Gaming

Not sure if these parts will work together.
Or if I can get better products for cheaper.

A 6670 isn't a very good card for gaming or 3D rendering if you want to max the games/run programs quickly. I would suggest downgrading the CPU to a Phenom II X4 955 and upgrading the GPU to a 6950 or a 560 ti (560 ti only if you want to OC).

I don't know the price you're paying for that mobo, but in the US I wouldn't pay any more than ~$100 for a good one.

I'd be using 3Ds max & Inventor. And I'll hopefully start making basic 3D video games soon, But I will be making Heavy 3D animations in the near future.

At that budget I doubt you can do better than the 6 core phenom . 3DS max can use the extra cores

I would make sure your motherboard can run the next generation AMD processors . The board has to be AM3+ spec . I cant even find the one you have picked on pccasegear to check the price , but Id go with either of these which guarantee upgradability because of the 970 series chipset

Probably the gigabyte , because you are unlikely to need two graphics cards .

Ohk, Thanks.

Btw it looks like they took down the 890, But It was $105, So upgrading the Gigabyte is'nt a problem.

Just to make sure, These parts all work together right?
