So I'm building my first PC and I selected these parts and I would like to know what you guys think about it and if you have any suggestions or something

CPU AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz Quad-Core
MOBO Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+
Memory G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3-1600
Storage Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 60GB 2.5 (only for running windows)
Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB 3.5 7200RPM
Video Card Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB
Case Corsair Carbide Series 200R
Case Fan Silverstone AP121 35.4 CFM 120mm

I was also thinking about the Intel Pentium G3258 with the ASRock Z97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Solution

Looks much better to me :)

Just remember to buy a new CPU cooler (like the hyper 212) if you want to overclock.
That SSD has some issues.

Just get a 1TB caviar blue drive for now.

You have a great motherboard, but a bad CPU. By not getting a SSD, you can move up to the 6300 which is much better.

The G3258 is also a nice choice but depends on what your needs are now. A 6300 will be much better right now, but the G3258 you can upgrade later to a i5 which is much better than the 6300.

What power supply do you have?

looks great man, dont forget about an OS and PSU. the 4300 is the better choice by the way

I agree with jaraldo. The V300 is about as fast as a western digital black anyway due to their switchup of the controller. I would get a FX 6300 and overclock it as that would woop anything in the price range, especially in the future due to the not so next gen consoles using really slow AMD 8 cores which is going to force the devs to optimize for 8 cores on a architecture that's really similar to PCs, which means we'll be getting the love too.

So this is the build with your suggestions added

CPU AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+
Memory G.skill Ripjaws Series 4GB (2x2GV) DDR3-1600
Storage Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB
Case Corsair Carbide Series 200R
Power Supply XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Case Fan Silverstone AP121 35.4 CFM 120mm (I don't know if I really need these..?)

So is this a better build for a gaming pc? (not high end)
By the way I'm not planning on overclocking yet :)

No you don't need the fans, the 200r comes with a front intake and a rear exhaust. However it does have more fan mounts, 1 in the bottom and 2 in the top. So if you want to get more you can, but a single intake and the rear exhaust will be enough airflow. However, you could benefit from a bottom intake and another top exhaust.
